Some unique items are arriving for the fundraiser silent auction on March 5th. Summit County architects, interior designers and artists are decorating bird houses to be sold exclusively by Habitat for Humanity. These unique, one of a kind habitats can be yours – but you have to be at the fundraiser to bid on them. Tickets are available for $35.00 each. Another way to support Habitat for Humanity is to shop Natural Grocers over in Dillon. Natural Grocers makes a donation to Habitat for Humanity for every customer making purchases in the store and using their own bag. It’s a great way to get good, organic food, reduce plastic grocery bags AND support Habitat.

Habitat for Humanity – Summit County is hosting a fundraiser on Friday, March 5th at the Lodge at Breckenridge.
Join us for a wine tasting, great apps, a silent auction and have the opportunity to donate your favorite part of a house – the kitchen sink perhaps? Enjoy local talent and generally have a great time enjoying the view from the Lodge.

It has been reported that there may be individuals going door to door, soliciting cash donations for “affordable housing”.
They do not represent either Habitat for Humanity or the Summit Combined Housing Authority.
If a solicitor does ask you for a donation, please contact your local police department or the Sheriff’s Office immediately.
