If you’re looking for a fun, challenging and rewarding experience, volunteer for a Habitat build. There’s an unending list of jobs on our construction site, so everyone, regardless of their skill level, is welcome.

While we are required by building codes to have licensed contractors do work on our electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, we always need help. Volunteers are needed for framing, putting insulation in, painting, and all types of finish work, including clean up and landscaping.

Team Build Days

If you’re a business and want to provide your staff with an opportunity to build cooperation and develop their inter-personal skills, or if you’re a social group that wants to work together on a project, then a “Team Build Day” is for you. Team Build and sponsoring groups get scheduling priority.

We work with groups of 12-15 people, all from one company, sponsor or group. You will have the worksite to yourself for the day. We’ll provide tools, training, your own hard hats, t-shirts, a banner and plenty of photo ops for your group. In exchange, you’ll be working on specific pre-defined tasks.

Team Build Days are the way to give your group an opportunity to participate in an exciting program. Picture your group holding a banner that says “Team XYZ Builds for Habitat”.

We ask your organization to make a financial contribution to the build  which allows us to acquire the construction materials required for your day of building.
